Wat een rally icoon is deze auto. Deze origineel Nederlands geleverde Austin Healey heeft slechts 5 eigenaren gehad in zijn hele leven, de laatste eigenaar heeft hem 4 jaar gehad, de eigenaar daarvoor ongeveer 20 jaar.! De Healey is volledig rally opgebouwd. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht bij deze auto om hem rallyproof te maken. De motor gooit er een ongelofelijke 160 PK uit met 321 Nm koppel, en dat al bij 1685 toeren per minuut. De motor is opgeboord naar 3000 cc, geheel aangepast en opgebouwd met gesmede zuigers, 270 graden nokkenas,gebalanceerde krukas en vliegwiel, aluminium carterpan, triple 45 Weber carburateurs, oliekoeler, aluminium radiateur, aluminium kleppendeksel, high torque startmotor, wisselstroomdynamo, competition koppeling en een aangepaste cylinderkop met grotere kleppen. De auto is voorzien van een uprated chassis en verzwaarde motorssteunen. De hele ophanging is aangepast naar heavy duty , dus veren , dempers, rolbar, poly bushes etc. etc. Ook de aandrijving is aangepast naar heavy duty en de achteras is voorzien van een limited slip Diff. Uiteraard zijn de remmen ook aangepast aan al dit geweld, het remsysteem is omgebouwd naar gescheiden remsysteem. De voorremmen zijn aan de voorzijde verzwaard en voorzien van EBC blokken en schijven. De achterkant is ongebouwd van trommel naar schijfremmen. De gehele elektra is aangepast. De auto is voorzien van een Mallory ontsteking met bijbehorend toerenteller. De A-Type versnellingsbak is voorzien van een completion overdrive.
Qua uiterlijk is de auto geheel aangepast naar Works specs, dus , een works hardtop met ventilatie klepje, een works verhoogde achterklep met verstraler, een dikke cibie set verstralers aan de voorkant, works louvres in beide voorschermen, een 80 liter rally tank, center lock Minilights, dubbele facet brandstof pomp, sparco rally stoelen met 4 punts gordels, aluminium halon blusser en aluminium sidescreens. Natuurlijk zijn de juiste rally instrumenten gemonteerd, een halda tripmaster, startime, en een wayfinder en nog wat extra benodigdheden. Het geluid is niet uit te leggen in tekst maar de gorgelende 6 in lijn met zijn triple webers produceren een magisch geluid, niet normaal. Degene die serieuze rallys wil gaan rijden die is klaar voor deze bedrijfszekere en ralyproof Healey. Deze machine komt met een enorme map met volledige historie , facturen, onderhouds interval, FIA paspoort, heritage certificaat. Ongetwijfeld vergeten we dingen, kom kijken en U zult overtuigd zijn, wat een kanon.!! Natuurlijk hopen wij dat dit origineel Nederlands icoon ook in Nederland blijft. What a rally icon this car is. This original Dutch delivered Austin Healey has only had 5 owners in its entire life, the last owner had it for 4 years, the owner before that for about 20 years! The Healey is completely rally built. Absolutely everything has been thought of with this car to make it rally-proof. The engine produces an incredible 160 HP with 321 Nm of torque, all at 1685 revs per minute. The engine has been increased to 3000 cc, completely modified and built with forged pistons, 270 degree camshaft, balanced crankshaft and flywheel, aluminum oil pan, triple 45 Weber carburetors, oil cooler, aluminum radiator, aluminum valve cover, high torque starter motor, alternator, competition clutch and a modified cylinder head with larger valves. The car is equipped with an uprated chassis and reinforced engine mounts. The entire suspension has been adapted to heavy duty, so springs, dampers, roll bar , polyurethane bushes etc. etc. The drive line has also been adapted to heavy duty and the rear axle is equipped with a limited slip Diff. Of course, the brakes have also been adapted to all this power, the braking system has been converted to a tandem braking system. The front brakes are reinforced at the front and equipped with EBC pads and discs. The rear is unbuilt from drum to disc brakes. The entire electrical system has been uprated. The car is equipped with a Mallory ignition with accompanying tachometer. The A-Type gearbox is equipped with a completion overdrive.
In terms of appearance, the car has been completely adapted to Works specs, so a Works hardtop with ventilation flap, a Works raised tailgate with spotlight, a thick Cibie set of spotlights at the front, Works louvres in both front wings, an 80 liter rally tank, center lock Minilights, double facet fuel pump, sparco rally seats with 4 point belts, aluminum halon extinguisher and aluminum side screens. Of course the correct rally instruments have been installed, a Halda Tripmaster, Startime, and a wayfinder and some additional necessities. The sound cannot be explained in text, but the gurgling 6 in line with its triple webers produce a magical sound, unbelievable .
