VW kever cabriolet 1956

Offering:

1956 USA oval convertible project.
Freshly painted in coral red, great project to finish in your desired way.

BODY:
Hundreds of hours spent at IRV restoshop UK to turn the former baja body back to a stock beetle. We found traces of black before the work started, but decided to go for the highly desireable L351 Coral Red that was copied from a original paint oval beetle from the same period. Loads of pictures available of the work done throughout the build.

INTERIOR:
Front seats and convertible back seat have been redone in the beautiful dotted beige.

ROOF/WINDOWS:
The roof frame has been sandblasted, beige cover included and 3 out of 4 window mechansims have been sandblasted/coated. Several of the windows are present, ready to be restored.

CHASSIS:
Birth certificate claims sedan, we’ve asked to check, but either the birth certificate is faulty. Or the floorpan has been changed in the past. Floor pans have been replaced and repainted. Split gearbox and lowered front beam mounted. Rolls on 15” white whalls.

ENGINE:
We purchased a 30hp engine that was restored by the previous owner. Runs and is ready to be mounted.

PAPERWORK:
USA convertible papers and all import taxes paid.

All-in all a great project to be completed and build. Would look incredible with a dark brown top and some detailed earlies. But hey, that’s all up to you.
Ready to go at 47.500,=. PX with pre 60VW is always possible.
